Based on the important position of Chinese character teaching in TCFL.The present situation of the research and development of Chinese character teaching,which has been paid more and more attention by the scholars of the field of TCFL.So this paper will combine the existing research results prepared by the Chinese characters of the comprehensive textbooks,and use a variety of research methods on "Experiencing Chinese Basic Course" and "Charming Chinese"(primary and lower volumes)to elaborate and study the part of the Chinese characters.This paper is divided into four parts.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly expounds the background and significance of the research,the research object,the research method and the literature review,and mainly introduces the predecessors related research,from the analysis of similarities,differences,advantages and disadvantages in the current status of Chinese.The second chapter is the most important part of this paper and it mainly uses the methods of statistics and comparative analysis to summarize the stroke teaching,stroke order teaching,Chinese character radical teaching,students' word processing and Chinese characters practice in the two sets of teaching materials.Moreover,it compares similarities,differences,advantages and disadvantages of the two sets and sum up experience.This chapter also analyzes the different grades of Chinese characters in the two sets of teaching materials based on the national authority of the Chinese character level table-"Chinese level vocabulary and Chinese syllabus outline" in order to analyze whether the selected Chinese characters is suitable for students in the primary stage.Finally,of it makes a comparison of the selection of these two sets from different aspects and finds that the current Chinese textbooks are still unreasonable and summarize the proposed teaching of Chinese textbooks.The third chapter compares the similarities and differences between the two sets and puts forward some suggestions on the compilation of Chinese characters in the future Chinese textbook,especially the initial stage.The last chapter is the conclusion of the paper.
