Researching About Formal Nouns' In Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language On Morpheme Ontology Vision

Vocabulary Teaching is an important part of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language(here after TCFL),also for the learners.In current teaching practice,most of the teachers still continue to choose word-oriented teaching theory as main teaching method.It has got a lot of outcomes in morpheme about Chinese ontology research,however,enough attention has not been paid to vocabulary teaching of TCFL yet.Staring from word-oriented teaching theory,choosing the formal compound nouns(Abbrev.formal nouns)as the point to research,this thesis takes researches on formal nouns' teaching under the morpheme ontology vision.Methods of comparative analysis,quantitative analysis and combining of theory with practice have been adopted in this article.Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 are key parts.First,this article is based on Classification of Chinese Characters/Syllable/Word in International Chinese Education(Abbrev.classification),classification is authorized by National NOCFL,Social Sciences Ministry of Education Department and the classification task group,and published by Beijing Language and Culture University Press in 2010.This article researches and analyses the formal nouns and morpheme of different ranks in classification,including the number and distribution of formal,as well as the number and word-forming ability of morpheme.It is found that there are 2417 formal nouns in classification,which takes 21.79%of total vocabularies,thus a point can be attributed that number of formal is considerable,the research is meaningful and applicable.Besides,it is found that the number of morphemes is 1270,among it,there are 115 morphemes that has stronger word-forming ability(the ability>10),the 9.06 percent of the total,the entries included in these morphemes is 41.92 percent of the total,it conforms to the morphemes' characteristic that the minority has stronger word-forming ability and stronger practicability.Second,this article takes Boya Chinese as a research object,and gives a statistics reference about formal nouns such as the number and distribution of formals,and the number and word-forming ability of morphemes,it is found that there are 1129 formal nouns in Boya Chinese,it's 16.72 percent of total vocabulary,it's obviously that the number of formal nouns also has a sizable proportion in this book.It turns out that the number of morpheme is 835,and there are 26 among it with stronger word-forming ability(the ability>10),it is 3.11 percent of the total,it conforms to the morphemes'characteristic that the minority have stronger word-forming ability and stronger practicability.According to these findings of the research which we've done in classification and Boya Chinese about the number/percent/classification/of formal nouns,it is found that there occurs some problems with formal nouns on including,number and proportion in those books.Third,starting from rational meaning,motional-color meaning and grammatical meaning of morphemes and words,this thesis gives analyses on the relationship between morpheme meaning and word meaning of formal nouns in Chinese ontology.On the rational meaning,it gives a description on word combination and analyze and then we find the laws.On the color meaning,this article makes researches on the relationship from the influence between morphemes and formal nouns.And on the grammatical meaning,we start from the characteristic of words,and analyze the relationship between formal nouns and morphemes in grammatical meaning.And finally we get the general conclusions from the analysis on above 3levels.Finally,based on the above problems and conclusions,we will give some suggestions about the compiling of formal on validity and reliability.And the author will try to provide appropriate teaching strategies to learners on different levels,which would give some ideas for TCFL.
