The author has been focused on children's vocal music education and practice for almost seven years,and has a more comprehensive understanding to the children's vocal music education and makes a systematic summarization to the specific teaching approaches after long-term experience accumulation.The author suggests that children's vocal music is a special discipline with strong technicality and practicalness,and also combines with scientificity and artistry.The teaching approaches of children's vocal music involves various respects including singing respiration,points of sound production,articulation of lyrics,which are mutually linked and indispensable.The research method of this article is to summarize theory with practice and guide practice with theory,to sum up experiences constantly in actual teaching,in turn,to instruct specific teaching with experiences.Therefore,the method to research children's vocal music education is to combine the theory with the practice,which is the most fundamental and important way,and the teachers learn from teaching and apply what they have learned in this process.The research purposes are to contribute to the children's vocal music education field,provide certain help for children's vocal music learning,and also provide references for children's vocal music teachers.The article is divided into four parts: the first part analyzes the main features of children's vocal singing including the characteristic of natural gamut and range and the comprehension of the “naturality” of children's voice.The second part expounds the specific teaching methods of children's vocal music education including the preparation before singing,the training of three singing elements,which are singing respiration,points of sound production,articulation of lyrics,voice training,the settlement of sound transformation problem,the introduction of mixed chorus,shape demand,the training of mental quality as well as the body strength demand while singing.The third part concretely analyzes the examples of numbered musical notation and mainly elaborates the analysis of lyrics and the processing and requirement of singing.The author puts forward the thoughts and suggestions regarding to the phenomenon of children who skip a grade after passing the Social Art Level Test and the selection of teaching tracks in the forth part.
