| With the trend of globalization constantly intensify and the international communication increasingly frequent,new words and expressions emerge in an endless stream.Among them,concise and efficient abbreviations have aroused widespread concern.It has the advantages of fast speed of generation,wide range of application and high frequency of use.It is not only an important part of modern Chinese vocabulary system,but also an indispensable auxiliary means for people’s daily communication and expressions.At the same time,it is obvious that there are some confusions and problems in the process of using abbreviations,which cause difficulties for the learning of foreign students and the teaching of Chinese language teachers.In view of the situation above,taking intermediate comprehensive courses as an example,this paper makes a study on the teaching of abbreviations in teaching Chinese as a foreign language and put forward some reasonable countermeasures.The paper uses the literature research method,questiomaire approach and error analysis method.On the basis of previous study achievements,considering the influence which abbreviations exert on vocabulary system,compilation of teaching materials,the teaching of Chinese language teachers,and the learning of foreign students such four aspects,the paper determines the background of subject and the significance of research.I establish thesis topic after a detailed understanding of the research status of modern Chinese abbreviations,the research status of abbreviations in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and the research status of reference books on modern Chinese abbreviations.Then,proceeding from ontology research of abbreviations,not only dose this paper defines the concept of abbreviations,but it also analyzes the features,causes and formation of abbreviations.In addition,combining ontology research and teaching Chinese as a foreign language,I make classification and statistics of abbreviations selected from currently used textbooks in our college.Then,I design a questionnaire to investigate students’ acquisition of abbreviations and analyze their problems and causes.Finally,there are some further thinking about the difference between abbreviations teaching and general vocabulary teaching.To analyze the insufficiencies in teaching of curriculum at present and put forward some principles and methods of teaching improvement.Through the research and analysis of five chapters,this paper suggests to teach abbreviations as an independent and important skill knowledge.Hope to provide not only some help for the Chinese learning of foreign students,but also some valuable reference for the teaching of teachers,the compilation of teaching materials and the research on the teaching of abbreviations in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. |
