| With the acceleration of globalization,China is carrying on the communication with other countries as an indispensable part in the fields of technology,education,economy.However,seminar,as an important means of implementing educational aids,provides opportunities for China to establish cooperation and exchanges with developing countries in related fields.By hosting this seminar,extensive relations and profound friendship have been established.Based on mutual understanding and mutual trust,this seminar will as before promote the cooperation and exchanges in the field of modern distance education between China and other countries.The appendix text and record come from the seminar in Distance Education Department of Jilin University.The text is composed of two parts: The first part is the welcome speech given by the International Office of Jilin University and the Ministry of Commence.The second part is the introduction to the history of Chinese distance education and its development in Jilin University with the Q&A session of the seminar.In the second session,the terminologies in computer science and education add difficulties in the process of interpreting,while in the second part,the African accent and Latin-American accent also cause interpreting deficiencies.Under this circumstance,the author analyses the text and summarizes suggestions.This report consists of three chapters.The first chapter introduces the general interpreting background including the background of seminar,the preparation of interpreting and the process of interpreting.The second chapter provides the analysis of source text and interpreting problems.Based on the analysis of misinterpretations on chapter two,the third chapter introduces strategies on improving interpreting quality.The author expects to provide meaningful references for those who may participate in the seminar in the future. |
