News listening and reading is a young and practical subject while compare to all the other subjects of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.It assembles skills of reading and listening with news as teaching materials and help learners understand contemporary Chinese society with the latest information.The effects include both language skill training and cultural transmission.The results of the research could be collected right now shows that this course have not form a mature teaching strategy,which bring a high requirement for teachers,and also increase learning difficulties to learners.Since I recognized that the schema theory has been noticed and applied in language research area,so I think there could have a connection between schema theory and Chinese news reading and listening.I designed a series of teaching experiments and summarized a new teaching strategy from this.This paper consists of four chapters,which are introduction,text and conclusion.Chapter 1 is the introduction part,introduces the purpose and significance of the topic,the existing research results,the main contents of this study and the specific research methods involved in this paper.While analysis the existing research,I focus on two aspects: First,the study of the course itself;Second,to summed up the application of schema theory in linguistic area in recent years.Chapter 2 is the investigation and analysis of the current situation of news listening and reading in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,including the use of teaching materials,classroom teaching and learners analysis.The most important part is the investigation and research part of the learners.There are large amount of chapters shows the results and summarizes some of the problems that exist in this course.Chapter 3 briefly introduces the schema theory and the relationship between the theory and the news listening and reading of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and makes the hypothesis that the schema theory can bring positive meaning to the course,and analyzes the special properties of the news material itself.Based on this,it elaborates my application of schema theory in teaching practice.A total of four teaching experiments,the first three for the news structure of the experimental teaching experiment,the fourth for the news word teaching experiment.In the experiment,the relevant data were displayed as detailed as possible,and a new teaching strategy was put forward for the reading and reading of foreign language.Chapter 4 summarizes the previous experiments and achievements,and also named some of the shortcomings of this article,there are still some unresolved questions in this course.
