It is important for Chinese learners to improve their Chinese language skills by choosing the right style to express properly.Teaching Chinese styles in a systematic manner should be given more attention and become one of the main teaching objectives when students start to learn Chinese. However, the teaching of Chinese styles in TCSL is not the main focus and has not been given the attention they deserve. Some teaching attempts were made in the intermediate written Chinese course for overseas students in Zhejiang University, through checking the stylistic errors in 218 works from the students, after which the errors were analyzed according to the works'type. We found that the errors mainly focus on "misuse of spoken and written style"and "inconsistency with the style and context".The result also shows that it is positive to reduce written stylistic errors in the teaching mode which combines the control teaching and lexical chunk teaching. In the writing of the same type or style,on the basis of the control teaching:firstly,by increasing the amount of chunk,it is helpful for students to accumulate language chunks and reduce stylistic errors rate;Secondly, the text frameworks help students to establish a sense of frame, and reduce stylistic errors when learning practical writing. This article also talks about the possible reason of the stylistic errors.
