Repeated-meaning adverbs"zai,hai,ye,you" has a very high frequency of use.Meanwhile,repeated-meaning adverbs also an error-prone point for international students.Thus,this paper consults the related literature through the NKI,library,WFSD and others databases,sorting and summarizing the existing researching results about the academia on Chinese repeated-meaning adverbs.This paper compares and summarizes the adverbs "zai" "hai" "ye" "you" in Chinese version with the repeated-meaning adverbs in the original of English version,and through the book "The Bridges of Madison County",finds the use of the law.Besides,the author surveys corpus information from Beijing language and Culture University HSK dynamic corpus library and uses statistic and classification to analyze the wrong uses of repeated-meaning adverbs for student whose mother tongue is English,and analyzes the internal causes and external causes of making errors.This paper also comes up with the corresponding and effective teaching methods on account of these errors and reasons.First of all,this paper based on the previous theoretical results,discussing the ontologies of repeated adverbs "zai" and "hai" and "ye",and "you",which mainly includes the basic meaning,grammatical functions and pragmatic functions,as well as the Meanwhile,this paper also analyzes the same parts of corresponding adverbs in English from the basic meaning,grammatical functions and pragmatic functions.Based on the Chinese and English version for reference of the book "The Bridges of Madison County",this paper compares "zai","hai","ye","you" with the corresponding English repeated adverbs,and sums up the corresponding English adverbs of "again","also","too","either"and"as well" mostly.And then,this paper finds out the similarities and differences between these words.Next,this paper investigates the use of repeated-meaning adverbs through Beijing language and Culture University HSK dynamic corpus library,and analyzes the errors for the students whose mother language is English studies the repeated adverbs "zai""hai""ye""you",and founds out the reasons one by one.The errors of using the repeated-meaning adverbs "zai""hai""ye""you" can be divided into three conditions roughly: misadd,misuse and lack of use.And the causes of errors includes the internal causes like the migration of mother language,the strategies of learning,the learner's own issues,etc.It also includes the external causes like the methods of teaching,the writing of the book,social environment and so on.Finally,according to the errors and the reasons,this paper comes up with the corresponding teaching suggestions.Mainly includes strengthening the study of ontology.Improving the compilation of textbooks at the same time,which needs to make interpretations of the teaching book have accuracy,and the content has century,and the practice has pertinency.In addition to,we need to improve teachers' abilities from two aspects: consolidating their own knowledge and enriching the strategy of teaching,so as to do a better job in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
