Singing As Life:the Research On Qing Ming Singing Party Of Miao Nationality In DanQing

Xiangxi prefecture is an ancient and mysterious place,with 860,000 Miao people,and also has a rich Miao culture.The Miao songs in Xiangxi area play an important part of the Miao people's daily life,people like joy,anger,grief and joy through Miao songs.for a nation with no written language,Miao songs are a carrier of Miao people's history and heritage national culture.Miao Nationality people's history and heritage national culture.Traditional festivals of Miao Nationality are passed on from generation to generation.Some festive celebrations which are closely related to daily life have a long history and are parts of Chinese traditional festivals.Recently there are more studies on cultures of Miao Nationality in Xiangxi area which show us integrity,kindness,and beauty and which are the carrier and means of adjusting the relationship of man and man,man and society,man and nature and man and universe.Furthermore,some of the traditional festivals represent Miao ancestors can help each other,unite as one,collaborate and work hard together under tough condition.This paper studys Qingming Singing Party In which way to present the singing and life of the Miao people.Qingming Singing Party in Danqing town becomes one of the traditional singing festival,Constitute “East song West drum North lion South drama Middle spring” pattern of folk custom of JIshou with Shaolong in Majinao,Baishihui in Aizhai,Chunhui in Qianzhou.Qingming Singing Party is an important part of local Miao people's social life.It's a conventional social activity day when Miao people sing in antiphonal style.Qingming Singing Party has long history and shows the cultural characteristics of Miao Nationality.Meanwhile,Qingming Singing Party is the cultural symbol Closely related to their daily life.Based on the theory and ways of anthropology on music and culture,this thesis connects fieldwork with documents.Firstly,here is an Introduction which relates the current situation,research methods,significance,and innovations of the research.And the first chapter introduces Danqing town where the fieldwork is conducted.Also in this chapter the historical origin,natural environment and cultural environment of the town are discussed.Through fieldwork and documents,Chapter Two is related to the historical origin,the fundamental preparational work and the performance of Qingming Singing Party in Danqing town.The third chapter concludes the significance of Qingming Singing Party in Danqing town which is an essential part of Miao culture of Xiangxi area,inheriting Miao national historical significance,promoting the emotional exchanges and improving the traditional minority culture.Finally,the last chapter makes some observations about protecting and inheriting Qingming Singing Party.
