Along with the development of social material civilization and spiritual civilization construction,promotes the renewal of educational idea of music education which is displaying vigorous vitality and makes the art market unprecedentedly prosperous.In music education,the restrictions of school music education on the subject,age and time have been unable to meet the national demand for music learning.Problems of pre-school music enlightenment and adult music education has not been fully resolved,calling for diversification of education era,in which social music education came into being.Qinhuangdao's social music education has developed fast during the past decade,and great achievements have been made in various aspects.But so far,there are few researches on the Qinhuangdao's social music education,thus giving rise to a situation of lacking professional social music education theories to guide it.Presently,most of the social music education institutions and individuals only follow the laws of the market: the quality,methods and modes of teaching have to follow the needs of the current market economy,so some problems inevitably arise.In this paper,the author designed a set of questionnaires based not only on the author's long-time teaching experience in Qinhuangdao,but also on the problems found in teaching and education,field interviews mainly with social music education institutions in Qinhuangdao,the social music teachers and students of social music research.These questionnaires are aimed at the study on the inside and outside development and construction of the institutions through a series of interviews and teaching obsevation.The all-rounded research and analysis mainly focuses on the music teachers' education background,teaching abilities and attitudes and the students' family background,learning objectives,and their test results.Through the data we get in the investigation,we have a relatively objective understanding about the basic situation of music education in Qinhuangdao,which also lays a strong foundation for the study of this paper.This article includes five parts: the first chapter introduces the reasons,significance,the status quo at home and abroad,and methods of the research;the second part is concerned with the related concept of social music education;the third section is about the status quo of social music education in Qinhuangdao;the fourth part summarizes and analyzes the achievements and limitations of social music education development in Qinhuangdao;the fifth part puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions on the existing Qinhuangdao social music education problems;finally,it is right to make a summary of this research,hoping that it will play a positive role in the development of social music education in China.
