| Recently,odd news has caught people's attention and has shared popularity among Chinese readers.E-C odd news trans-editing is also being discussed in academic circles.Based on the data collected in Huanqiu website,this thesis conducts an analysis on the features and differences between English and Chinese odd news by means of comparison,summarization and so on.The thesis will mainly explore the trans-editing methods and techniques in E-C odd news headlines,leads and bodies from the perspective of Mona Baker's narrative theory.Through the analysis,some problems of E-C odd news trans-editing will be unveiled and feasible trans-editing methods or techniques,such as information omission,restructuring,indirect speech will be proposed.It is hoped that the thesis will provide effective E-C odd news trans-editing methods and techniques for other scholars of this field and improve accuracy and efficiency of E-C odd news trans-editing. |
