| Web news of science and technology plays an important role in the process of displaying and promoting all nations' scientific and technological achievements.Due to its distinctive characteristics and influence,Huanqiu has become an excellent platform to disseminate sci-tech news.Based on the author's experience at Huanqiu Trans-editing Platform,this thesis takes the trans-editing of sci-tech news published at Huanqiu Sci-tech Channel as the subject and analyzes the translation process and products under the theoretical framework of Toury's translational norms.By means of literature research,questionnaire survey and comparative research,this thesis expects to put forward feasible norms at both macro and micro levels in order to guide the trans-editing of Huanqiu sci-tech news.It is found that the translation of sci-tech news cannot take the way of simple literal translation.On the premise of keeping accuracy,translators should edit the news headlines,news lead,tech terminology and background information of the source text in accordance with the requirements of Huanqiu's target readership,media positioning and the characteristics of sci-tech news.In this way,it is believed that the advantages of web as a communication channel and carrier can be taken in a better way and the communication effects of sci-tech news will be improved. |
