E-C Trans-Editing Norms For Huanqiu Military News Headlines

Based on the author's experience in Huanqiu Military Channel,this thesis,taking military news headlines posted by Huanqiu as its subject,through such research methodologies as corpus analysis,contrastive analysis,questionnaires and interviews,proposes value judgment criteria for the news headlines in the context of rewriting theory,namely,political ideology,media positioning and readers' expectations.Then,under the framework of Toury's translational norms,the thesis probes into the preliminary norms for trans-editing of Huanqiu military news headlines,i.e,news values that determine the choice,the omision and the highlight of news contents;and under the guidance of the preliminary norms,corresponding operational norms and structural patterns are proposed to realize these values.This thesis aims at providing suggestions for the subsequent intern trans-editors of Huanqiu Military Channel,and thus improving the trans-editing quality of military news headlines.
