The Influence Of Model Essays In Intermediate Writing Course To Student Abroad

With the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the importance of writing teaching is gradually reflected.The model essay is an important tool to help students improve reading and writing.The paper mainly uses the list way,analysis the genre,content,vocabulary and grammar of model essays in Intermediate Writing Course(I,II).We found that the teaching material in genre follow the principle of gradual and orderly.It’s content close to people’s daily lives.In language,words become difficult and grammars are organized around the theme.These model essays set an good example.At the same time,studying compositions of abroad students,we found that the content and language in essays have an impact on them.In content,the model essay provides demonstration and gives inspiration.In language,there are 3 kinds of language point attract students attention.The first one is words or grammars that relate to the key points of writing training.The second one is repeated in model essays.The third one can lead to the following content or summarize the whole text.At last,this paper will makes some suggestions on genre,content,language,examplary role and the method of using the model essay for teaching materials for Chinese writing in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
