This thesis analyzes the Errors by comparing those made in the professional simultaneous interpretation andexperiment interpretation of the Apple Event September 2016.The theories applied in this thesis are the Error Analysis of S.P.Corder and Effort Model of Daniel Gile. The analysis of Errors follows five steps as the major parts of the thesis, including Collecting Samples,Identification of Errors(namely mistakes and errors in interpretation),Description of Errors,Analysis of Errors and Evaluation of Errors. After analysis, findings are that the percentagesof errorsand mistakes for both professional and student interpreters remain same, namely 82% and 18% respectively, but gaps exist in the number of Errors made by the professional and student interpreters. The student interpreter has more imperfect interpretation in almost all categories of the mistake and error than the professional interpreter, except the omission of sentences and correction. After evaluating the omission, the conclusion is thatomission sometimes could be a useful strategy for the interpreterto make the interpretation smoother and more efficient,or serve as a strategy when the interpreter encounters unfamiliar expressions to avoid misinterpretations. But sometimes, the omissions of important messages or even sentences are errorsthat should be avoided.
