Translation Strategies Of News Headlines Under The Teleological Perspective

Nowadays,with the increasing frequency of international cultural exchanges,the dissemination of news information is increasingly inseparable.Information exchange is important on the basis of promoting development of China and Japan.In an news,the headline is a high generalization of information and has the most important guiding role.Therefore,the translation of good news headlines has played a vital role.Teleology can serve as a guiding function for the translation of news headlines,and it is an important theoretical basis for translating news stories and news titles.From the perspective of skopos theory,this paper tries to start with the most authoritative and representative People's Daily news in China.On the basis of summarizing predecessors' research,through the method of induction,comparison analysis,from the "vocabulary","sentence","content" in-depth analysis in three dimensions,summed up the news headlines translation methods and strategies are as follows:For fixed subjects,national location institutions,to make a literal translation.In the light of the title,we should fully consider the national principle and the situation.Two translation strategies commonly used for predicate action are predicate ellipsis and noun verb.For digital data,the literal translation of dates and data is based on the principle of teleology.In the translation of proper nouns,the translation strategy should be adopted,which conforms to the principle of the country and the language habits of the country.As for the translation of popular expressions,the same depends on the word,but roughly divided into literal translation and free translation.In the structural changes of the sentence,the original title is usually split into two subheadings,and the secondary title is used to supplement the unmarked contents of the first class title.In the word order change of the sentence,the translation strategy of the position of the predicate,or the position of the subject-predicate object is often used,which conforms to the principle of functional equivalence.In the sentence structure change,the Chinese news headlines change the sentence pattern,played the role of the finishing point.In the use of punctuation,it is necessary to refer to the appropriate addition and subtraction of Japanese customs,and to pay attention to whether the original title content is affected accurately.In addition to the relevant information,it is complemented by loyalty to the original text to enhance the integrity of the content.In terms of rewriting the alternative content,in the premise of retaining the important information of the original text,some of the changes can achieve the more concise effect of the translation.In addition,the author also aimed at some unreasonable and completely change the question,the proposal must grasp the degree,cannot be different from the original title;On has been known to,or don't omit important information,must first have a general understanding of detailed content,secondly according to the content of people are familiar with and important degrees to objective judgment,and then to appropriate content.In addition,while rewriting,must take into account the language habit of good Japanese,should not violate the principle of skopos theory.In the process of translating news headlines,we should adopt a pluralistic translation strategy,and firstly,we should clarify the purpose of translation and realize functional equivalence,which is the principle that all translation strategies must adhere to.Secondly,it should take into account the expression habits of good Japanese in reorganizing the title language,so as to facilitate the understanding of Japanese readers and achieve the consistency principle.Thirdly,when rewriting the content,it should be consistent with the original news title and realize the principle of loyalty,whether it is supplementary or elliptical or even change.Therefore,based on the theory of skopos theory,this paper conducts research on the daily translation of Chinese news headlines in the hope that it will help to promote the communication and in-depth discussion of relevant scholars.
