The Influence Of Tolerance And Dominance On The Matching Difference Of Mate Selection In College Student

Mate selection is a very important step in life,but also a very common social psychological phenomenon.With the beginning of study the phenomenon of mate selection early in the last century abroad in 20 s,Fletcher proposed the ideal standard in 1999,then carried out a series of studies on the ideal standard function and effect,and achieved some results.Our research on spouse selection started later than the west,combined with Chinese unique Chinese culture,and the rapid development of the economic and social situation,the contemporary Chinese mating psychology has undergone tremendous changes,especially in the early adult college students,love also gradually become an important topic in their lives.Combined with the existing research results at home and abroad,this paper puts forward the research and design.First of all,standards of contemporary college students were investigated with the written standard questionnaire.Then through questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews as the main research methods,college students were selected as the research object with the questionnaire of college students,the standard of choosing spouse dominant scale and tolerance scale as the measurement tool.Through the group test,we get the relevant data,and according to the data processing and analysis results of contemporary college students' criteria,criteria of reorientation and individual dominance relation and tolerance have been explored.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The mate selection criteria of contemporary college students include six aspects: emotional factors,mutual complimentarily,personality trait,physiological conditions and material and social conditions.(2)On the whole,the female students' criteria for choosing a spouse is significantly higher than male students,especially in the five aspects of emotional factors,the compatibility and complimentarily of the two sides,personality trait,and material and social conditions.There is no gender difference in physiological conditions.(3)Changes in physiological conditions,the state of love of standard character,the importance of both compatible and complementary and emotional aspects of the evaluation has changed significantly.The importance of evaluation of changes in the material social conditions is not significant.(4)The contemporary college students' dominance is in the medium low level,and the tolerance is in the medium high level.There are gender differences between male dominance and female dominance.Male dominance is higher than female,and male tolerance is higher than female.The dominance of college students with different places of birth is significantly different.Urban students' dominance is higher than that of rural students.Also the only Childs' dominance is significantly higher than that of the non only child in dominance.(5)Tolerance and dominance are related to the reorientation of the mate selection,there's positive correlation among degree of tolerance,personality traits,ability condition and material social conditions.And dominance is negatively related to the change of physiological condition,ability condition,compatible complementarity and material social conditions.The dominance of the individual has a certain predictive effect on the differences between the physical condition and material social conditions.
