Some of the aspects of Chinese grammar are very unique and can be found only in this language,such as the forms of complement verb structure.They are one of the most important and the most difficult in Chinese language.Russian students learning Chinese language usually have a lot of troubles in both understanding the meaning of the Potential complement forms and the way to use them.It happens because the Potential complement forms are not the same in Chinese and Russian,and comparative study of Chinese and Russian Potential complement sentences is not enough.The reason is that comparative study of the most Potential complements is mainly done in such pairs of languages as Korean and Chinese,English and Chinese.The results of the undertaken researches are not applicable to teaching Chinese to Russian students.Therefore,there are comparisons of possible similarities of Potential complement forms in Mandarin and Russian languages,questionnaire survey and teaching methods of Mandarin Potential complement forms to Russian students in this paper.This paper is divided into four chapters:In the first chapter the author names the topic of the research,its significance,provides data from the researches done on this field previously and describes the research methods.The second chapter is consecrated to the comparison of possible similarities of Potential complement in Mandarin and some of the similar grammar structures in Russian languages.Moreover,the author tries to draw out a possible way of expressing Chinese Potential complement in Russian language.The third chapter is the error analysis of Chinese Potential complement forms sentences done by Russian students learning Mandarin language.The analysis is undertaken on the basis of a questionnaire survey.Also in this chapter the author analyzes the results of the questionnaire survey.The errors in Potential complement structure done by Russian students during the survey were divided into several groups as well,what simplifies their analysis and study.The fourth chapter proposes methods and strategy of teaching Mandarin Potential complement forms to Russian students.Finally of this paper is the conclusion,summarizing the results of Error Analysis and the teaching strategy of Russian students,learning Mandarin Potential Complement forms research,and points out the deficiency of this paper and the research direction in the future.
