Potential complement is a unique syntactic constituent of modern Chinese,and it is also a relatively weak teaching link in modern Chinese studying.There are differences between the academic circles about the names of possible verbs and the classification of potential complement.The potential complement is also the difficulty of learning Chinese as a second language learners,which is the focus of granmar teaching in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This paper analyzes and compares the similarities and differences between the potential complement and the state complement,the degree of complement,the result of the complement,the trend of the complement,the prospective verb;and combing the potential complement in the teaching of Chinese as a result and the results in the teaching material;basing on the theory of error analysis,comparative analysis,interlanguage analysis and so on,the two questionnaires on possible verbs were used as the research basis,on the basis of the comparative analysis of the two statistical data,the errors are classified and the reasons are found.The teaching suggestions are puting forward for the second language teaching.
