with the divorce rate increasing year by year,more and more children are living in divorced families.Because of family changes,these children are suffering psychological distress and anxiety.In this survey,we will choose some students in senior 1 and senior 2 from three different high schools in Chengdu as the research objects.Besides,the mental health diagnostic tests(MHT)revised by professor Zhoubucheng from East China normal university in 1991 and the personal information questionnaires are used as the test material.By investigating the current situation of psychological health of high school students in divorced families and then analyzing their forming reasons,the author hopes to explore better educational countermeasures for these students in divorced families.Research results: The overall level of psychological anxiety among high school students with divorced parents are significantly higher than that of normal high school students(p<0.01).The level of psychological anxiety among high school girls in divorced families is significantly higher than that of high school boys(p<0.05).In terms of self-blame tendency and allergy,the level of anxiety of senior 1 students is significantly higher than that of senior 2 students(p<0.05).Among divorced families,the level of psychological anxiety of non-only-child students is significantly higher than that of only-child students in high school(p<0.05).The study also has some new findings.There are significant differences in psychological anxiety among high school students from different divorced families where the parents divorced when they were at different ages.The level of psychological anxiety of the students at the age of 0~6 when their parents divorced is significantly higher than that of the students at the age of 7 ~12(p<0.05).The level of psychologicalanxiety of the students at the age of 7~12 when their parents divorced is significantly higher than that of the students at the age of 13~18(p<0.01).The level of psychological anxiety among the students in divorced and reorganized families is significantly higher than that of the students in divorced and single-parent families(p<0.05).Furthermore,the main psychological problems of high school students in divorced families are learning anxiety,physical symptoms and allergies.Research conclusion:The mental health of high school students in divorced families is generally lower than that of the normal high school students.The psychological problems of high school girls,non-only-child students,senior 1 students,the students in divorced and reorganized families and high school students when their parents divorced at the age 0-6 are more serious.It is high time for society,school and families altogether to take measures to help them improve psychological health.
