When the selected translation text is not a single type in the general sense, for example both the obscure theory and the specific case in this translation text,we should use some translation theory to realize the translation of such a complex text.During the process of translation,we need to be under the guidance of appropriate translation theory to realize these two aspects of balance. The Skopos theory of German functionalism can effectively solve the problem of the translation of complex text content,so as to realize the refined and common sense of translation. The word Skopos theory was put forward by Hans Vermeer(An important founder of German functionalism),the theory highlights the importance of target readers, which includes three basic principle:Principle of Skopos,Principle of Coherence,Principle of Fidelity.Principle of Skopos is that the translation should be based on the feeling of the target reader, the method and strategy adopted in the translation which depends on the purpose of translation.Principle of Coherence means that the translation must be readable and meaningful to the target reader, and the target reader can accept and understand the translation through his knowledge and cultural background.Principle of Fidelity requires translators not only to be faithful to the original text, but also to the author of the original text. This translation practice report is under the guidance of Skopos theory, the selected text is Shinobu Onizawa's translation of Justice:What's the Right Thing to Do?,mainly introduces some philosophers and lists the history or some examples about justice in our life, the text has the characteristics of objectivity and readability. In this text,we have difficulties in understanding some philosophers' opinion, which is objective,we can't and don't need to change in the process of translation, which needs us firmly grasp Principle of Fidelity, faithful to the original text, faithful to the original text, author strives to translate this part out.In addition, the article also enumerates specific examples in modern society, which is readable. In the process of translation,we need to present a specific example to the reader completely, thus deepening the reader's understanding of the philosophical point of view. This needs us firmly grasp Principle of Coherence,to consider the cultural background of the target readers,to make the specific case with internal consistency,at the same time guarantee the continuity of the specific case and philosophical views, and present the specific and complete content of the case translation to readers. Both the Principle of Fidelity and the Principle of Coherence are subordinated to the principle of Skopos.Because the text content involves the profound philosophical knowledge, also contains specific examples, how to weigh the two degrees in the process of translation, keep the philosophical views of its inherent professional, keep specific case readable, which must be clear in the process of the translation. This translation practice report is under the guidance of Skopos theory, and effectively combines the three principles and four kinds of translation skills to discuss the problems in the translation process and the strategy to solve the problem. In the preface part, introduces the purpose of this translation practice, points out that the translation practice is under the guidance of Skopos theory and the practice promotes the translator's translation of knowledge development and the improvement of translation. The first chapter introduces the translation process and analyzes the two main text features of the selected philosophical reader:objectivity and readability. The second chapter mainly focuses on translation theory-Skopos theory, and introduces the three principles of Skopos theory are elaborated on how to guide the translation practice. The third chapter is a combination of four kinds of translation skills, analyses the typical examples in the text, and discusses in detail how the Skopos theory to be used in translation practice. The last is the epilogue of this translation practice report, makes clear the purpose of this translation practice once again, according to the specific conditions in the process of translation should not only keep the objectivity of the philosophical views, but also achieve specific examples of readability, grasp the"degree" of translation, realize the balance of two aspects, also points out the deficiency of the translation and the direction of future efforts.
