At present, China has become the world’s largest aging countries, according to the forecast statistics of the United Nations, by 2050 China will be about 500 million of the elderly population, more than the national total, and the entire European population is about750 million. Such a huge elderly population, accompanied by a huge pension needs. China’s main population is concentrated in rural areas and in rural areas of central and western regions by the role of social development, the emergence of a large number of "empty nest families", "empty nesters" income is not stable, it is difficult to live independently, women go out for a long time to not to care, spiritual emptiness inside alone, keep the old contradiction, a prominent problem. The pension problem is world, but even said is a difficult problem in the world, elderly pension problems related to the household, related to our each person’s vital interests, how to overcome the problems of an aging society, is directly related to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, the relationship to the realization of the Chinese dream.In this thesis, I take Yuhuang Township, Wudu District, Longnan City as the research obj ect by the questionnaire and interviews.I carry out a survey on economic conditions, daily car e, mental comforts, etc. I analyze the current situation of the group of the empty nesters, and t hen, put forward countermeasures accordingly to the problems and results I summarized. I ho pe this will be helpful in rural social endowment support work in the future.
