Study On The Pension Demand Question Of The Rural Empty Nesters

In the late 1990 s,China entered the aging society earlier,and with time going by,aging affects China's economic,political and cultural life with the lightning speed,at the same time,it also causes a lot of pressure for our country in the pension services.Population ageing brings a series of tough problems for our society,but at present the most serious one is the problem of empty nest.Since the reform and opening up policy,the rapid economic development of our country is internationally obvious.And the development of the whole economy depends on the part of urbanization,industry and enterprise's outstanding contributions.Most of these outstanding contributions are attributed to the adults who have flowed into the cities from the countryside,without the strong backing of the sufficient human resources,the development of industrialization and urbanization is bound to be affected.However,you can not have your cake and eat it too.Although our country's social economy develops fast with a large number of rural adults migrating and working in cities,this phenomenon has caused a large number of rural empty nest elderly appearing.Compared to urban empty nesters,rural empty nesters much more fit the characteristics of the vulnerable group,and they need more support and help from the government and the community.And it becomes an important issue in the construction of the socialist modernization that,aiming at the situation of rural empty nest elderly pension demand,how to find out a path to improve the living standards and quality of empty nesters,so as to meet the urgent needs of their daily life,become an important issue in the construction of the socialist modernization.Therefore,in this grim situation,the research and analysis of rural empty nest elderly pension needs,and the combination of practical solutions will be bring a more harmonious and stable situation for the new socialist countryside and the development of social economy in our country.Based on field investigation and exploring relevant literature,the author analyzes the current situation of L village empty-nest elderly demand and security dilemma on the basis of family cycle theory,demand hierarchy theory and social support theory.After interview and investagation,the author found that since children are not at home for a long time,the needs of empty nest elderly can not be well satisfied in the economic supply,health care,life care,spiritual comfort and they have great difficulties in pension problem.The contradictory relationship between supply and demand is not only applicable to the economic aspects,also exist in empty nest elderly.The contradiction exists between the lack of supply of family,government,society and the growing demand of the old.The emergence of this contradiction is also the result of multi-factors,which is mainly divided into three points: The first,as the children go out to work,the family pension function gradually weakened,with the implementation of the one-child policy,family size tends to miniaturization,the spread of the network media and the distortion of the values of life make the filial piety culture consciousness weak.The second,the social support for old-age security policy is not in place,including the imperfection of the rural old-age security system,pension service agencies and industry development lag behind,the legal system in rural areas has not been sound yet.The third,due to the lack of reserves of material pension funds,the lack of protection awareness of physical and mental,self-old age security support capacity is obviously insufficient.Above all,in order to break the negative factors that affects rural empty nest elderly demand security,create a harmonious and stable new countryside for the rural elderly,the rural empty nesters old-age security measures should be established from a multiple perspectives,all-round combination of the power of the main body of the four parties.Firstly,play the role of the family to meet the needs of empty nesters.Strengthen the propaganda of filial piety culture,improve the children's sense of responsibility.Speed up the development of rural economy,and encourage migrant children to get back home to work.Secondly,play the leading role of the government to meet the empty nest elderly pension needs.Establish and improve the rural old-age security system.Promote the construction of pension institutions and the development of pension industry.And establish the perfect legal system of rural old-age security.Thirdly,play the role of the communities to meet the demand of empty nest elderly.Strengthen the guide of rural community,develop new rural pension mode;Guide non-governmental organizations and volunteer teams to play social forces.Fourthly,play the role of elderly to meet the independent needs of self-support.Based on their own conditions,they should enhance the material pension ability;Promote them to change the pension attitude,pay attention to adjust the physical and mental health.
