Nowadays is the era of knowledge economy. Knowledge has become the primary productivity and training is an important way to fulfill it. In recent years, due to the government pay more attention to the training project, the civil servant training is not only be focus on the input, but also performance more. However, it concerns the point of training evaluation for the civil servant which could make the training more close to the unit, work and individual needs and improve the ability of the trainees.This paper aims to set up a civil servant training evaluation system which is suitable to Guangzhou's real condition. It insists on the value orientation of administrative reform in our country, and makes use of the Western training evaluation technology, so that the value and tools are mutually promoted.This paper takes Guangzhou Government Training Center for example, tries to focus on the central issue which is how to evaluate the training of civil servants in order to ensure the evaluation results more reasonable, comprehensive and effective, and propose some countermeasure to set up a complete evaluation system especially on the evaluation system, organization, indexes and methods.This can effectively overcome the shortcomings of one-side assessment and optimize the process, so as to improve the quality of current training. It can also make evaluation and adjustment in time and evaluate whether the final results achieve the training objectives so as to offer the basis for training policy and improve the effectiveness of the training of civil servants.
