At present, China is building a moderately prosperous society in a crucial stage, public buildings as the focus of infrastructure plays an important role in the national economic and social development.However, in the other hand, the current status of China's public construction quality is worrying. The ratio of public construction quality accident exceeds the average level of civil construction, which not only caused significant property damage, but also more serious casualties.Through document analysis, comparative analysis and empirical analysis, this thesis investigates the quality problems of public construction in our country, and analysis the cause. Then finds there are lots of problems of legal regulation of public construction quality, such as, imperfect laws and regulations, unregulated regulatory procedures, missing accountability, disunity regulatory body, unreasonable acceptance system and so on. Simultaneously, by studying extraterritorial public construction quality legal regulatory, we find the States attach great importance to the quality of public construction, and develop sound legals. Learn from the extra-territorial experience on the basis of problems of legal and regulatory on the quality of public construction projects in our country, and raise Legislative principles, legislation selection, unify the regulatory body, Standardize the regulatory process, reform quality inspection system, and increase the punishment of public construction quality legal regulatory, trying to look for a fundamental way to solve the problem of public construction quality from the level of legal supervision proposed.
