With the deepening of the reform of the judicial system and the reform of the prison system, the prison police team is required to improve. Due to the prison police in the career development process encountered many difficulties to be solved; these difficulties have to need to be in the system innovation, management initiatives of the stage. If the prison police carrer development dilemma cannot be solved effectively, it will further influence the career development of the prison police, prison personnel to face the loss, resulting in the quality of work is not high situation, affect the development of prison work.In this paper, first of all, the relevant literature review, from the understanding of the academic research situation, for the study of this paper provides help. Then, the career development dilemma of prison police team in Shanghai and its reason is analyzed; Secondly, this article carries on the case summary to the T prison, T prison police of the professional status and difficulties do focuses on in-depth analysis. Finally, the reasons for the prison police career development dilemma, put forward some countermeasures and suggestions.This paper applies the method of literature research, questionnaire investigation, interview study and case study, career development dilemma of Shanghai prison police team was studied. The study found that there is a lack of trust, the prison police for career identity is low, the prison police career ability is insufficient, the prison police working enthusiasm is low, professional stress large etc. phenomenon in Shanghai, mainly have prison management and the development of prison police career cannot combine, the prison don't pay enough attention to the development of the prison police career, the development of channel and the development of prison poice needs asymmetric, the performance appraisal failed to the prison police career development oriented, security mechanism and occupation development separation and other reasons.Through a case study of T prison and a questionnaire survey and interviews were conducted in the T prison, the prison police team is also lack of planning leads to change of trust, understanding of the one-sided led to the low professional identity, development limitations lead to a lack of professional competence,assessment does not highlight the lack of enthusiasm for work, high intensity work leads to pressure generation, special objects cause safety concerns, management is not scientific lead to the marginalization and other issues,affecting the development of the prison police career. Through the analysis of the specific reasons for the career development dilemma, and provide the basis for countermeasures to help career development dilemma of the prison police team.Finally, according to the prison police team in Shanghai and T prison police career development dilemma in existence question and the reason, combined with T prison police of the actual situation and the author's own practical work of thinking, using related theory, set the prison police development planning system, strengthening the prison police the dedication of professional identity of sense, opened a multi-channel prison police the gateway for career development, improve the prison police team performance evaluation mechanism, perfect the career security mechanism of the prison police team, strengthen the role fo individual prison police in the career development and other countermeasures.
