Research On The Social Support Network Of Migrant Hearing-impaired Children's Family

Migrant hearing-impaired children's family,as migrant and floating population,has different needs in the process of integration into the community,facing different problems.Studying the issue of the group is of significant importance for playing the social function and promoting harmony by reconstructing the social support network.The study based on the previous studies tries to use qualitative research methods under the guidance of social support theory to study social support network of the hearing-impaired children's family through program-the service project of hearing-impaired children's in Ji'nan social work service center.Then analyzes the influence factors of social support network construction and explores ways to assist the clients to reconstruct the social support network.The study collected data by means of literature study,semi-structured interviews and participant observation.The main research literature collected two parts information,one part is the research content of hearing-impaired children of foreign scholars,and the other part is the content of the special children including hearing-impaired children's family relevant research on social support network construction in China.The author interviews 31 clients based on the questionnaire.The content of the interview mainly includes the family situation,rehabilitation,problems and social support and so on.The main contents of the research:first,the author describes the basic information of migrant hearing-impaired children and their family and analyzes economic,family,psychological pressures and so on and generalizes the discontinuity of social support network.The level of discontinuity is diverse,including individual,family,peer groups,community and hospital rehabilitation.Second,the author analyzes the social needs of migrant hearing-impaired children's family and describes the social assistance programs and the limitation of the rescue projects.Third,the author analyzes and assesses the social needs and project supply,then explores and summarizes ways to reconstruct the social support network.The study found that needs are not only diverse and serial,but also timeliness.Currently spiritual support is the most needed need of the family.Then the author rebuilds the social support network based on the demand analysis in three ways from the micro-intimate relationship,middle-social network and macro-social integration.This study which related problems of migrant hearing-impaired children's family has theoretical significance and practical significance.The former is that the study integrates the theory,practice and experience,which could make up for the lack of research on vulnerable groups.The latter is to make social workers use professional skills into social work practice actively to attempt to the clients' change and promote to balance their function.But the research conclusions are limited to the scope of the study because the study is subjective by using qualitative research.And it is difficult to be extended to the entire hearing-impaired children groups.
