Civil servant examination,as an entry part of the civil servant system,is significant for the elite selection,class mobility and political identity.After nearly three decades'development,China's civil servant examination system has established a complete framework.As an important part of the civil servant system,it directly affects the normal operation and efficiency of the state machinery.It is related to the diligence and diligence of the government staff and the government's image in the minds of the people.It is also related to the success or failure of various national undertakings.In recent years,the civil servant examination and recruitment system has been reformed.After reformation,this system has the following characteristics:he clear direction,and the outstanding focus,the high-equality recruitment,information disclosure,the efficiency of employment and so on.The system has made good progress,and has improved effectiveness and public evaluation.However,during the operation of the system,there are still some deviations.They are mainly in four aspects.First,the design of the access channel is still relatively vague.The scope of civil servants is unclear and civil servant update export mechanism is sluggish.Second,the disposal of rights is still relatively weak.There is short of documented procedures to protect the complaints.Third,the effectiveness of the examination is not clear enough,the examination level is simple.Besides,the content of the examination is out of practice.Fourth,the public has some psychological confusions to the system,such as the high cost of the exam,the single choice of the occupation.The main reasons for the above-mentioned deviations lies in the three paradoxes,namely,The contradiction between the unified examination and the multiple demands,the contradiction between the standard examination and the individualized candidates,the contradiction between the fairness and the efficiency.To improve the current civil servant examination system,we should consider how to effectively arrange the different stakeholders' criteria.We can optimize the examination technology,strengthen the supervision system and improve the system design.In specific,Using hierarchical examination,building a wide range of social supervision and promoting the process public examinations are all efficiency measures.
