The examination and employment system of civil service is a significantsystem of civil service management aspect in our country. Moreover, thissystem plays an important guiding role to the civil service examination andemployment. From the first establishment, this examination and employmentsystem is a kind of useful addition to the civil service management and regulatesthe employment system at the same time. The enacted of Civil Servant Lawmakes sure that the examination and employment would be confirmed by law.Furthermore, the function of the examination and employment system is moreand more obvious as the administrative system innovation constantly goesdeeper.The examination and employment system of civil service enacts a rulewhich sets the selection method and content. It makes sure that every personemployed as last should pass the examination. This policy ensures the fairnessand justice of the recruitment. Moreover, the ‘enlist according to merits’ policyhas developed the servants competence successfully. Moreover, this system hasbeen proved that it is scientific and feasible after many years of practicing. Itimproved the competence structure of civil service team. Furthermore, it haspositive effects on improving competence and ability structure of servants aswell.However, the examination and employment system of civil service has some disadvantages which need to improve in the future. In order to enhancethe personnel competence and the ability of the civil servants, it is necessary toset reasonable recruitment policy, examining method, examining content andemployment procedure. As a result, it will be possible to tap the potential of theexamination and employment system of civil service, make full use of thissystem, and keep pace with the times as well. At the same time, some aspectswhich are not suitable for the times would be improved.
