The urbanization process has brought about the profound changes of the social life,and the "new citizens" group with the "suburban landless peasants" and "rural migrant workers" also yearns for higher requirements in the construction of the social public service system.as the important part of the public service system,Archives and archives should actively play its role in urban public services to meet the needs of new citizens group archives information,and help new citizens integrate into urban society.Based on the information of the new citizens in the context of the new urbanization,this paper,focuses on how to provide the archives information service,and elaborates the following aspects :The first part elaborates the background and the significance of the topic selection,summarizes the research on the related problems in the academic circles,and explains the research contents and research methods.On the basis of clarifying the concept of new citizens and regional archives information service,the second part analyzes the contents and characteristics of the information service demand of new citizens' archives and reveals the motivations of the integration.The third part explains the feasibility and necessity of the archives information service of the new citizens,and emphasizes the significance and social value of the archives information service for the new citizens.The fourth part analyzes the current situation of the information service for the new citizens in the macro and micro perspective,and finds out the existing problems and the limiting factors.The fifth part,as the focus and innovation point of this article,puts forward the regional archives information service strategy for the new citizens from the government,the archives and the community.
