Crime And Control Of Migrant Population In Urbanization Drive

At present,the rapid development of China's urban economy is inseparable from the construction of migrant workers,but at the same time a large number of migrants have become a huge problem in the process of urbanization.Based on the background of urbanization development,this paper studies the crime of floating population in the process of urbanization in China,and analyzes the characteristics of crime phenomenon,explanation and governance measures in order to provide reference for solving the problem of crime among urban floating population,and promote the development of China's urbanization process.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,which is about the origin and significance of this study,pointing out the value of this paper.Then the part of literature review summaries the previous domestic and foreign research.Foreign research is mostly concerned about immigration crime,while domestic research is concentrated in the city migrant workers groups and floating youth groups.This paper chooses the theories of social control,social transgression theory,social governance theory and cultural conflict theory as the theoretical basis to explain the phenomenon of crime.The second part is the analysis of the relationship between urbanization and floating population,pointing out that urbanization is an important thrust of population movement,and population flow is the inevitable phenomenon of urbanization.The third part is the analysis of the situation of the floating population in our country.This paper explains why the floating population is more likely to commit crimes,and summarizes the problems of the floating population in different periods.The fourth part describes the main performance of the crime among floating population in China,summarizing from the aspects of main behavior,culture and education,professional expertise and space-time characteristics.The fifth part is the analysis of the causes of the crime among floating population.The article explains and divides the four types of groups from the aspect of region and group,including the eastern economically developed area,the western economically backward area,the floating youth group and the ethnic minority group.The sixth part is the control and prevention measures proposed for the crime among floating population.It is suggested to commence from these four aspects,including reforming the household registration system,reforming the floating population management mode,strengthening the protection of the floating population and strengthening the legal education,to improve the urban viability of floating population from the aspect of system management and education improvement,and to promote the integration of floating population and reduce crime rate.The last part is the summary and discussion of the paper.Floating population crime is a long-existing and complicated problem.Although the current government and society have already recognized this problem and taken measures to improve,how to establish a more effective service management and mechanism of prevention and control is still exploring.The path of effective governance is still a long way to go.
