Venture Philanthropy:the New Model For The Development Of Social Organizations

In recent years,with all reform of the social organization management system policy,social organizations of our country has entered a rapid development stage.The number of the social organization is growing very quickly and the capacity of the social organizations is also increasing.With the development of society and economy,people's demand of public service is increasingly diversified.However,the government cannot provide the wholel public service.A growing number of professional public service is calling to the professional social organization to participate in.Under the guidance of the 18th national party congress processed to the system of social management innovation,a lot of local government from the perspective of cooperation between the government and social organizations,actively pioneered the use of"venture philanthropy",the innovative means to cultivate the development of social organizations.We can say public venture capital has become the government encourage social forces to participate in the beginning of social governance.Venture philanthropy through multiple channels to mobilize social resources,fully meet the demand of public service,not only get the praise of the community residents,and produced a good social benefits.In the venture philanthropy model,under the stimulus of a large number of small and medium-sized social organization supported by powerful fiscal and ability,which are growing up quickly.But we still need to realize because of many factors,during the venture philanthropy still exist many problems,such as lack of money,lack of talent employees,lack of policy to support and the time for the project is short.Therefore,how to use the venture philanthropy project to foster development of social organizations,thus promote the improvement of the whole social governance become a problem which we need to study.Venture philanthropy is based on social organizations to participate in the practice,and takes Nanjing as an example.This paper analyzes the relationship between the social organization and venture philanthropy.The essay makes a comprehensive use of documents,participation,observation and interview to analysis.This paper introduces the concept,characteristics and operation mode of the venture philanthropy project in China after a brief introduction to the theory of venture philanthropy at home and abroad.Then,focus on the origin of Nanjing's venture philanthropy project and introduces the operation mode and general situation of Nanjing's venture philanthropy project.Secondly,this paper analyzes the relationship between venture philanthropy project and the social organization through the role orientation of the three part of the social organization in Nanjing.Then,from the social organizations to participate in the plight of venture philanthropy is discussed.Finally,combined with the successful case in venture philanthropy,discusses the path of social organizations to participate in philanthropy,in order to cultivate the social organizations and provide experience for other cities.
