At present, the new generation of peasant workers has become the main body of China's industrial workers, this part of population has 278 million in scales. At the same time, the background of China is we are in a comprehensive deepening reformation, and the industrial structure is facing the overall optimization and upgrading, moving forward from "made in China" to "created in China".In this situation, the reality to the new generation of peasant workers in China is they still can not meet the needs of this transformation,on one hand,in the labor market, there present that the labor supply is abundant, but on the other hand, the enterprises is confront with a situation that is structural shortage of labor. This has resulted in the waste of human resources and restricted the development of state and individual. It may also trigger a series of social problems, which is unfavorable to the process of urbanization and modernization in our country.Combined with the new generation of peasant workers is the working class in reality this paper describes the status of the new generation of peasant workers and explore the connotation of modern industrial workers, according to theoretical analysis and practical analysis, trying to find out that how to change the new generation of peasant workers to modern industrial workers, and find out the main obstacles in this process,so as to put forward some suggestions.Through the research,we find that compared with the developed countries,China's new generation of peasant workers as a special group in the process of rural labor shift, existing both the general characteristics of labor transfer, but also the special characteristics, that is to say,the transfer of labor in developed countries is often synchronized in transfer and the settlement, but in ours, the transfer is completed, but they can not settle down.As a result, the new generation of peasant workers is difficult to further change to modern industrial workers, the main obstacles are: the problems caused by the household registration system, the low level of social security for the new generation, the lack of vocational skills training, and the problems of the new generation by the traditional concept. In this case, combined with the realities of our country, thispaper argues that the next step that China's new generation of peasant workers need is to get rid of these obstacles, and change to the citizen-type,subject-type,knowledge,technology and learning of modern industrial workers. This article draws lessons from the successful experience of the rural labor force transfer to the secondary and the thirdly industry in the developed countries in different periods, mainly in Britain,France,Germany and japan.Based on the actual situation of our country, the author thinks that the transformation of the new generation of peasant workers to the modern industrial workers is difficult to achieve this transformation only by themselves, therefore,it is necessary for the government to mobilize the whole society related factors, overall planning,to create the necessary conditions for the transformation of peasant workers,at the same time, peasant workers themselves should actively seek this change.
