Research On Sino Japanese Relations From The Perspective Of Public Diplomacy

At the turn of the century,Sino Japanese relations have been developed in various fields,but contradictions and problems have become increasingly prominent at the same time.Sino Japanese relations is not only a matter of bilateral development,but also relates to the stability and prosperity of the region and the world.We urgently need a new concept and diplomatic thinking,to build a favorable way for the development of diplomatic relations between the two countries.The concept of public diplomacy emerged in the 1990 s,the characteristics of the direct contact with the foreign people has great help to the relationship between countries.It can improve the image of the country,enhance the right to speak,safeguard the interests of the state.It plays an important role in the development of Sino Japanese relations at the same time.This paper studies the relationship between China and Japan from the perspective of public diplomacy.Firstly,the author discusses the influence of public diplomacy on the construction of national relations.From the role of public diplomacy in the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan,it is concluded that the friendship and exchanges between the peoples of the two countries should not change regardless of the changes in the international or regional situation.Secondly,it analyzes the current situation of Sino Japanese relations from the perspective of public diplomacy.At the macro level,the author points out that the reason for the deterioration of Sino-Japanese relations lies in the understanding of historical issues and the structural contradictions between the two countries,moreover,this paper makes a summary of the colorful public diplomacy between China and Japan in recent years.Then,this paper points out that China and Japan have made some achievements in public diplomacy,but have not achieved the strategic goal.And proposed the specific ways to develop public diplomacy in the future,only in this way can we promote the development of Sino Japanese relations.Finally,the author analyzes public diplomacy under the system of Chinese characteristic diplomacy.Under the guidance of the new diplomatic concept,such as "strategic reciprocity"," East Asia Community " and " community of common destiny",public diplomacy will play a greater role.It will cooperate with the overall diplomacy,to promote the elimination of misunderstanding between China and Japan,the establishment of mutual trust.It will fit the overall diplomacy,promote Sino Japanese eliminate misunderstandings,establish mutual trust,build a new type of great power relations of cooperation and win-win,and then bring benefits to the people of the two countries.
