General self-efficacy is the individual itself to the confidence degree of different environment or face the new environment.Professional failure is due to the large professional strength,duration is long,will cause the individual emotional exhaustion and reduced to human nature and a sense of achievement.The police,the relationship between general self-efficacy and career burnout not only can enrich the police professional failure and self-efficacy theory research,can also be for the grass-roots public security organs to alleviate the police professional failure situation,provide reference for making decisions that improve the police self-efficacy.This research adopts the general self-efficacy scale(GSES),the police professional failure scale of shaanxi tongchuan city 230 police officers were measured and interviews,using SPSS 19.0 statistical analysis data,the following conclusions:1,shaanxi tongchuan city police general self-efficacy level is low,general self-efficacy levels in different groups of different police.Among them,different age,different education and different time,different growth CongJing,different gender,different launching police general self-efficacy does not exist significant difference;Different positions,different marital status of the police general self-efficacy exist significant differences.2,shaanxi tongchuan city police career failure degree is higher,the different level of different group of police professional failure.Among them,the personal accomplishment of tongchuan city police level is lower than the domestic police,emotional exhaustion and dehumanization above the level of the domestic police.In terms of gender,education,growth,shaanxi tongchuan city police professional burnout various aspects were there is no significant difference;In the age,marital status,CongJing time,launching and job there exist significant differences.Less than 5 years of CongJing with 6-10,11 to 15 years,16 years of police emotional exhaustion and significant differences of personal accomplishment;Age below 30 in the police and more than 30 to 40 years old,41 years old police emotional exhaustion and significant differences of personal accomplishment;Leadership positions and non-leadershipcategories police significant differences of personal accomplishment;In terms of launching,Interpol and dehumanization aspect of public security,traffic patrol significant difference;Security police and Interpol,traffic patrol police and authorities there is significant difference in the emotional exhaustion;Interpol and public security,traffic patrol the significant differences of personal accomplishment;Marital status on the personal accomplishment dimension,marital relationship harmony and poor marriage,marriage relationship more harmonious and poor marriage,marriage and marriage less significant difference exists among the police.3,shaanxi tongchuan city police a correlation between general self-efficacy and job burnout.Among them,the general self-efficacy and job burnout of the police there were significant negative correlation between emotional exhaustion and dehumanization;General self-efficacy and career failure of the police of personal achievement was significantly positive correlation.Shaanxi tongchuan city police professional failure level of the police general self-efficacy has certain prediction effect.On the basis of the above research,this article put forward to improve the police general self-efficacy,reduce the Suggestions to the police job burnout.
