The Research On The Impact Of Root Culture On Strengthening Cross-straits Ties

On account of historical reasons,cross-strait relations confronted isolation in long-term after 1949.Since the new period,the cross-strait relations have made great development from isolation towards loosening,ease,and then exchanges rise.Especially since the new century,the development of cross-strait relations developed significantly faster,the overall trend is becoming better and better.However,owning to the long-term separation and a variety of "Taiwan independence" obstacles,the development of cross-strait relation is not smooth which still did not break the political deadlock between the two sides,thus the unity of the road is still difficult.But,both sides always have a common cultural bond,this culture derives from the root culture of the Chinese nation.It is the Chinese culture root and source which are the main body and the core of Chinese traditional culture.It plays an important role in cross-strait relations.The Ethnic identity of the root culture is continuous,and the more hardships we face,the self-consciousness of pluralistic Chinese nation and identity of Chinese culture are more enhanced.For thousands of years,the relentless pursuit of national unity has gradually become the political ideal and moral emotion of the Chinese nation above all else.What is the important factor in creating the distinctive features of Chinese history? It cannot be said to be caused by the subtle influence of root culture.It is like a tough bond that connects Chinese nation with the great family of the Chinese nation together,and more consolidated it becomes.This paper will use the theory of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics,the theory of "one country,two systems",the United Front Theory,cultural identity and other theories to study the role of root culture in the exchange and interaction between the two sides of the Taiwan straits.First of all,it defines the concept,characteristics and development status of root culture and Taiwan regional culture.Secondly,this paper clarifies the relationship between the regional culture of Taiwan and the Chinese root culture,mainly the relationship between fit and deviation.Moreover,I prepared the field investigation,data collection,literature collection and other methods to demonstrate the specific role of root culture in strengthening cross-strait relations.Such as,the role of root culture in promoting cultural exchanges between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait,the role of root culture in the economic cooperation between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait,the role of root culture in the social interaction between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait and the role of root culture in the political interaction between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.In addition,it renders a comprehensive analysis of the influence of the mainland,the island and the international factors on the role of root culture in strengthening the relations between the two sides of the Taiwan straits.In the end,according to the role of root culture in strengthening cross-strait relations in the full range,it puts forward some measures and suggestions to enhance and enrich the cross-strait relations,as a reference for the peaceful development of cross straits relations and the reunification of the motherland.
