A Research On Community Public Service Resources Development And Utilization

Since China's reform and opening up,Chinese communities have undergone fundamental changes.Communities have undertaken a lot of tasks from government during economic and social reform and have become the frontline platform for social administration and providing public service.In the process of building a well off society,residents have higher expectation for personalized and diversified public service from communities.Community building,especially community public service requires large amount of resource investment.The imbalance of community public service allocation,urban and rural difference and shortage caused prominent conflict between communities and residents.China's booming economy allows government's better support for communities,which enables communities to be more autonomous in providing better and more diversified public service.It is both opportunity and challenge for community public service resources development and utilization.Community public service resources development and utilization has become a issue for government administration with respect to management theory,subject,resource,mechanism and methods in development model.This paper takes Suzhou XX community as an example for investigation and analysis of community public service resources development and utilization.Through interview and field study method,this paper analyzes the major methods,achievements,problems and reasons of XX community.Drawing upon the advanced experience and method both in China and abroad,This paper puts forward the ideas and suggestions that with respect to community public service resources development and utilization,we need to have correct understanding,cultivate and development multi-subjects,broaden the channel of resources,perfect its work mechanism,motivate community residents to actively participate in public service.As a result,we can improve community public service resources development and meet the personalized and diversified needs of community residents for building a harmonious community.
