A Study On The Influence Factors Of Public Fear Of Crime And Its Countermeasures

As a key measurement of the state of social security,public security also reflects people's happiness and is a key indicator of life quality.Domestic and foreign scholars have conduct lots of research on the situation of public security and its factors,while the study on the micro factors that affect the public security is little.Based on the questionnaire data of 2109 residents in Changzhou,this paper applies SPSS20.0 software to empirically analysis the situation of public security of Changzhou and its factors,then reviews the practices of the domestic and foreign cities and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions on how to promote Changzhou's public security.Research results show that:(1)The overall level of Changzhou's public security is high.And the highest satisfaction field include property security and personal safety while the lowest field include food safety and personal information privacy.(2)Burglary,non-motor vehicles stolen,violation of the dog and the dog hurt,migrant population illegal crime and the manufacturing and selling counterfeit and shoddy food are main five problems of the public security in Changzhou.Cadre work style and way of working,the requisition of contradictions,floating population increases,the doctor-patient relationship nervous,the problem of wage arrears for rural migrant peasant workers of embezzle part of what was the key factors that triggers social conflicts situation factors.The big gap between rich and poor,too many outsiders,the crime crackdown,people's weak legal system concept,relationships unfamiliar deficiency and police are the main factors influencing Changzhou's social order.(3)Education degree,occupation,income,history of infringement,marital status,age,health have significant effect on the public health security and show the differences in gender and the household registration.The effect of higher education on the promotion of urban public security is greater than the rural residents;Technical professional class.Group of than married,especially urban unmarried men group,has a higher sense of security.The influence of income security is more stronger for women than men.The effect of health on security is positive.The higher the frequency by the infringement of the right of predators,the lower its security.Based on the lessons from foreign developed countries and the domestic typical city,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions on how to promote Changzhou's public security:(1)Innovate the top design idea for promoting the public security;(2)Strengthen managing social contradictions;(3)focusing on key areas;(4)strengthen the comprehensive dynamic control,(5)the innovating social management mode.
