Research On Public Participation In Community Governance In Lucheng District Of Wenzhou

As the basic cell of the society,community refers to the large group formed by the gathering of several social groups or social organizations in a certain territory.The quality of the development and management of the community reflects the degree of social progress.With the acceleration of the process of urbanization and overall urban-rural development as well as the construction and development of urban communities and rural communities,the democratic awareness of community residents is gradually enhanced.The community residents pay more attention to the community governance and interest demand.Public participation in community governance is an important content of the concept of multi-dimensional governance.It is the embodiment of the awakening of modern democracy consciousness.In addition,it is also the important method and ultimate way to solve various problems in community management.The research on public participation in community governance and influence factors has important theoretical and practical significance.The study of public participation in community governance has important theoretical and practical significance.Based on a large number of literature,New Garden Community of Binjiang street,Lucheng District,Wenzhou(urban community)and Tengnan Community of Tengqiao Town(rural community)was selected as the research object in this paper.This paper summarizes the main existing problems in public participation in community governance for Lucheng of Wenzhou District,such as weak participation consciousness The participation is not strong,Limited participation,Lack of width,Participation in organizational level is low,lack of depth,etc.Finally,the suggestions of improving system construction,providing participation protection,expanding joint development and publicity,inspiring participation motivation,focusing on ability building,expanding participation scopes,encouraging organization development and setting up participation platform are put forward in this paper though the comparison of several kinds of public participation in community governance models at home and aboard as well as the reference to experiences of community governance in China.This study can not only provide the optimization path and practical suggestions for the public participation in community management in Lucheng District but also provide reference for the construction of multi-dimensional governance of the communities in Lucheng District.In addition,this study can also provide reference for the research and practice of public participation in community governance in other regions.
