Research On Setting And Authority Of China's Food Safety Regulatory Agencies

Food,are indispensable for everyone's survival and health.If the food is safe,it will ensure do not damage people.Otherwise,it will cause damage to the people.It can be seen food safety is the prime problem of the national economy and people's livelihood.It also related to the development of the national and social stability.Over the years,the worldwide outbreak of food safety problems are rising.Therefore,food safety problems are crucial for every country.Recent years,our country's food safety accidents occur frequently,such as big head baby,cooking oil and others.These accidents caused negative influence to people's physical and mental health,the social stability and the national image.In face of the severe problem,China's government has given high priority and strive to resolve the situation.The study on the paper starts from the regulatory body,and consists five parts.The first part is introduction.It starts from the background of food,and introduces the research results of domestic and foreign scholars on the food security situation.And put forward the research ideas of and content.The part is the definition of food concepts.Then combined with the relevant basic theory to illustrate the regulation of food safety.At the same time,this part summarized the history of food regulation,and it paves the way for the following research.The next part introduces the setting and authority of food safety regulatory agencies on the United States,Japan and the UK.And summarizes the advantages.The following part is the introduction of China's regulatory authorities and privileges.After the study of the existence questions,the article puts forward measures on the regulatory authorities and privileges.The article argues that the most direct and effective way is to strengthen the supervision of food industry.In other words,improve our current regulatory institution and the competence construction mechanism.Specifically,revise the Food Safety Law,determine the objectives and principles,strengthen the supervision of food safety responsibility system;strengthen food safety committee functions,improve the detection department status,establish supervision personnel occupation qualification system;make full implementation of regulatory mode,increase the punishment of offenders.
