My View On Marx's "New Materialism"

Marx's “New Materialism” is the collectively name of Marx's philosophy system.It is the basis of Marx's philosophical system and the foundation of the whole Marx's theory system.However,scholars of different theoretical backgrounds at different times have many different understandings of New Materialism.The emergence of many understandings makes the appearance of the New Materialism blurred,so that a widely debated problem emerged.It is what the New Materialism is and why it can be called a new one.A comprehensive and indepth grasp of the New Materialism not only help us to clear away the fog of the view of nature,history and practice plagued people for a long time,and show the overall outlook of the New Materialism,but also can provide us a new angle of view to understand the essence of its philosophy,deepen our understanding of the New Materialism and provide theoretical reference for our country to formulate the principles and policies.From the content point of view,the New Materialism contains scientific world outlook and methodology: using "humanization" nature as the object,new view of nature expounds the idea of harmonious coexistence between man and nature through discussing the dialectical relationship between man and nature and pointing out the alienation phenomenon of the relationship between man and nature;Based on the premise of "realistic man" and its practice,new social history view holds that the basic contradiction of society is the material motive force of the development of history of human society,and the human need is the motive force of the development of human social history.It points out clearly that the main body of the development of human social history is "the man who acts in the history of society",the contradictory movement of productive forces and relations of production is the fundamental law of development of human social history and socialism will eventually take the place of capitalism to be a "worldwide system";The new view of practice holds that practice is that as the subject,with the help of material power and material factors,human use practical means to act on practical objects,and make the object change some material form to meet the needs of the subject,so that the practice is inextricably related to the relationship between nature and man,specific performances the real nature is the nature which is related to the practice of human beings.Practice is the birthplace of social relations and the source of the motive force of social development.Practice is the basis of human cognition,and as the subject of practice.Human is not only the starting point of practice,but also the end-result of practice.The new methodology mainly includes materialist dialectics,from abstract to concrete,the method of "light of illumination" and the method of "anatomy of human body".It provides a scientific methodology for the New Materialism to understand the world,and also brings strong methodological support for its theoretical achievements.New Materialism,which based on scientific methodology,is the organic unity of materialistic dialectical view of nature,materialistic dialectical social history view and materialistic dialectical view of practice.It draws a clear line with the old philosophy and embodies the "new" of the New Materialism.However,since the founding of New Materialism,there have been many divergences in understanding the essence of New Materialism,including the understandings of dialectical materialism,historical materialism,practical materialism and anthropological materialism.To be sure,these understandings try to grasp the philosophical essence of New Materialism,but they are still inaccurate.From the point of view of philosophy essence,the New Materialism is the scientific humanism materialism.It is the materialism first.And as the materialism,it is humanism,but also has the remarkable scientific nature,so it is scientific as well.As a kind of thought and theory,New Materialism has a profound influence on human beings.With its new views of nature,social history,practice and methodology,New Materialism creates scientific humanist materialism,puts forward a new theory for the history of human thought,and opens up a new way for the development of human society,guiding China's social development and practice.
