As a new teaching model, blended learning has developed for nearly ten years and attracted a lot of attention of researchers from do mestic and abroad. With the development of education informatization, blended learning has been introduced into the instruction of different subjects gradually, and the empirical research is growing as well. Although there are numerous studies about blende d learning, very few special studies of the Chinese reading teaching is available. How to apply the blended learning to the Chinese reading teaching successfully is beneficial for the promotion of blended learning application in middle school Chinese reading teaching even the whole Chinese teaching. Furthermore, the study is of great significance to help guide the Chinese reading teaching in middle school out of the traditional examination-oriented misunderstanding.This paper is based on the characteristics of the Chinese subject, focused on combination of the blended learning and Chinese reading teaching in the junior high school.At first, it summarizes the present status of the theoretical and practice study of the blended learning at domestic and abroad through literature research method. At the same time,using the method of questionnaire investigation and interview investigation to analyze the characteristics of the junior high school students and the influence factors of learning effects.Besides, it designed the blended learning teaching model of Chinese reading subject and then used the experimental method to conduct the comparative teaching study in two classes of the same level, in which the blended learning and traditional teaching model are carried on respectively. Additionally, the implementation effect of the blended learning are surveyed through questionnaire and interview methods. Practicale results show that the blended learning model in the junior high middle school is beneficial for arousing t he students' interest in learning Chinese reading, promoting the study effect of the Chinese reading and cultivating the appreciation ability of the Chinese language and literature.Firstly, this paper carries on the outline of blended learning, and gives detailed analysis about the current situation of Chinese reading learning in Junior high school by questionnaire.Secondly,we build Chinese reading blended learning model according to the current Chinese reading. Then, we do empirical research on students as the research object. Finally, we summarize the paper and prospect the research direction.
