In recent years, "learn first to teach behind" is the teaching mode which have been successful in the practice of some well-known school reforms, and are constantly used to reference by many schools. That is because the teaching mode accords with the requirements of educational reform and reflected the learning philosophies of independent, cooperative and inquiry. The students can really learn by themselves. Based on the successful teaching mode of "learn first to teach behind", the subjects are students who from the senior middle school of Ping Shun and explored the "learn first to teach behind" of Chinese teaching.Through collected and refer to a large number of relevant literature, the research carried on the literature review about aspects of theory and practice. Then explained the definition, basic stables and teaching features of "learn first to teach behind" teaching mode and the author discussed theoretical thesis of the teaching mode. Under the guidance of case analysis, classroom observation and interview, the author studied the status of "learn first to teach behind" in senior middle school of Ping Shun. The study found that "learn first to teach behind" teaching mode made a great progress, but there still exists following questions:poor quality of learning plan, the teaching activity is unscientific, lack of the Chinese teaching strategies and students have less autonomy for study. For the problems above, the research put forward suggestions from the five aspects:write and use the learning plan reasonably, design and apply the teaching activity scientifically, improve the Chinese teaching strategies and develop their autonomous learning capability. All of these can complete the school operational mechanisms. Hope to promote long-term development of the school in Chinese teaching.
