The sorted exercise-based guided learning mode plays a rather important part in mathematics teaching. Owing to the deeply-rooted traditional teaching ideas as well as extremely limited time and quite urgent tasks, teachers are reluctant to have a try of this method. Combining the teaching theories on the sorted exercise-based guided learning mode with his own teaching practice, the author are devoted to put forward something valuable for people concerned.In Chapter One the author will present the overview of the practice of the sorted exercise-based guided learning mode at home and abroad, the subject, aim, significance and methods for this research. In Chapter Two, the author will elaborates on the relevant theories, main features and deep meaning of the the sorted exercise-based guided learning mode. In Chapter Three, the author will illustrate basic principles and approaches for the sorted exercise-based guided learning mode. In chapter Four, the author will describe the experiment in details and show the feasibility and effectiveness of this teaching method by result of the after- class questionnaire. In chapter Five, the author will deal with some remaining problems appearing the questionnaire as well as teaching practice by putting up some practical suggestions based on his teaching experience. The problems to be further discussed will also be pointed out in this chapter.In conclusion, the sorted exercise-based guided learning mode is pretty helpful in fostering the students' interest and confidence in their math learning, improving their problem-solving skills and promoting great progress in the examinations and tests, just as the teachers in charge of math teaching have long been expecting.
