The Research On Quality Improvement Of The Reports Of The Teaching Quality Of The Undergraduate

Quality is the degree of where the target is achieving,quality improvement is the process of promoting the target.Drawing up of the report of teaching quality is the self-evaluation of undergraduate teaching of universities,and it can help to identify problems as well as summing up the achievements,aftermath,it can do a favor in putting forward the countermeasures to solve the problem and improving the teaching work of undergraduate and improving the quality of personnel training,this is the internal target of the report;the report should be published to society,therefore,the public can know about it timely whenever necessary,and then they can read it and understand it,and most importantly,they can make use of the report to take selecting actions,such as choosing school and making donations,and finally the public can put forward opinions and suggestions to the work of colleges and universities by using mechanism of feedback,all the above is the external target.Thus,the evaluation of the quality of the report includes two aspects,namely internal targets and external goals,that is to say the quality improvement is to promote the realization of internal and external goals,neither of them is indispensable.Based on literature reviews,and the use of methods of text research and survey to analyze the current situations,the paper picks 4 universities to analyze their versions of"quality report of the teaching of undergraduates in 2013",the objects of the investigation are the freshmen who ever experienced the choice of entrance of school,teachers and parents of high school are the object who should be interviewed.Aftermath,the paper investigates the public and their cognitive status of text quality and releasing systems of the report,and then,the paper analyzes of existing problems and the causes of the problems.Finally,the paper puts forward suggestions to improve the text quality and its releasing system.The research shows that problems exist in the quality report including the injustice of the content,the dimness of the main point and the ambiguity of the data and some important problems are ignored;it also can be found problems existing in releasing regulations,that is to say the time lag of the releasing,the disunity of platforms and the lack of feedback.In order to achieve the mutual goals of the internal and external objectives,the paper believe that 3 solutions can be put forward,that is to say,the government should enforce the guiding and supervision,and at the same time,colleges and universities should pay more attention to the work of drafting and the construction of issuing,finally,the institutions of higher education should establish the mechanism of feedback from the community and absorb suggestions from different fields of society.
