In this paper, the use of teaching case analysis, interviews, literature,classroom observation, comparative analysis, experience summary and other methods,the connotation of situational teaching method and theoretical basis for in-depth study.In Guangzhou City Huadu District town and village junior high school as an example,describes the situational teaching method in rural junior middle school ideological and moral lesson application; points out the necessity of situational teaching method in rural junior middle school moral education classes using the; of rural junior middle school thought moral qualities lesson such as how to effectively use situational teaching method put forward some strategies. Through the research we can draw two conclusions: first, in rural junior middle school thought moral qualities lesson play the charm of the situational teaching method is not to negate the traditional teaching,teachers should correctly deal with the relationship between the situational teaching and traditional teaching; second, to reverse of situational teaching method in rural junior middle school thought moral education and application of disadvantage,improve the overall quality of rural teachers is the key.
