As a basic way of teaching which is suitable for modern teaching concepts,'Situational Teaching Method' is nowadays widely used in teaching of various subjects in different grades.However,these researches are relatively scarce with the teaching contents of ideological and moral lessons as their researching background.In recent years,our country has put forward both a magnificent goal to build a socialist country ruled by law and an eager claim to reinforce and improve the legal education among teenagers.The ideological and moral lessons,as the main front in legal education for students in junior high schools,undertake the important educational functions.As a result,the author conducts a beneficial exploration in this research by applying the 'Situational Teaching Method' for the teaching of topic knowledge in the subject.The research is really of important theoretical value and realistic significance for the author studies with great care the application of the teaching method for teaching legal knowledge in ideological and moral lessons in junior high schools,looks for its existing problems and explores the relative optimizing strategies for the application of this method.In this research,the author utilizes various researching methods such as literature research,questionnaire survey,classroom observation and comparative research.The author finds out and analyzes some existing problems in the application of the situational teaching method for teaching legal knowledge in ideological and moral lessons,shifting from the theoretical research to the practical one,from the viewpoints of students to those of teachers and then explores the practical optimizing strategies for situational teaching method on the relative basis.This thesis consists of the following parts.First,the author states the significance for this research and the research status of the 'Situational Teaching Method' home and abroad which is then used as the theoretical basis for the further study.Next,the author puts forward the significance of applying the 'Situational Teaching Method' for teaching legal knowledge in ideological and moral lessons by analyzing the current background of educational reform and the real practice of classroom teaching.Then,the author studies the relative main existing problems and finally on the basis of these problems,the author discusses and explores the optimizing strategies for the 'Situational Teaching Method' from macroscopic analysis to microscopic one and from outward phenomenon to inner essence.This research is rooted in teaching topic knowledge and based on practical problems in classroom teaching.Some questions are considered and concluded from teaching experience for many years in this research and it is carried out with the improvement of teaching effects as its final researching goal.The author expects to improve effects of teaching legal knowledge in ideological and moral lessons,to advance the legal education among teenagers in a better way and to contribute some efforts in participating in the educational reform in junior high school stage and cultivating the core qualities of students by carrying out this research.
