| In the modern competitive sports, building large-scale, high-level and comprehensive sports training bases has become the international common practice to get excellent achievements in the field of competitive sports. A high-level training base not only requires good training venues, equipment and material conditions, but also needs coordination with excellent movement training monitoring and medical recovery technology.Thus,advanced sports training base is of great importance for the development of modern competitive sports.Nowadays, the rugby training bases are still not enough and the existing training bases are still imperfect. Therefore, building a high-level rugby winter training base has become one of the focuses of the rugby development in our country.Through methods of literature data,interview, questionnaire surveys and mathematical statistics and so on,this study has sorted out the history and present situation of Chinese rugby and world rugby and has analyzed the necessity of building the rugby winter training base and the feasibility of building the rugby winter training base in Guangzhou. Meanwhile,this study has investigated into the venues,supporting facilities,accommodation and diet,and the basic training situation of the rugby team in Guangzhou University.And through the analysis and comparison with Measures for the Management of National Sports Training Base, several main conclusions can be made as follows:1. It’s necessary to build a high-level rugby winter training base in Guangzhou University.The construction of the rugby training base in our country is still in a early stage.Therefore,few rugby training bases exist at present and the specific rugby winter raining bases haven’t been built yet.Moreover,the existing rugby winter training bases can not meetthe need of high-level rugby teams.However,building the rugby winter training bases is of great significance for improving the rugby competitiveness in our country.2. The main advantages of building a high-level rugby winter training base in Guangzhou University can be elaborated as follows:Firstly,the sport resources in Guangzhou University can provide a better platform for building a rugby winter training base.Secondly,the thoughts of Guangzhou University about building the research base have laid a foundation for building the rugby winter training base.3. The internal conditions for building the rugby winter training base in Guangzhou University:The basic situations of winter training base in Guangzhou University,accommodation, diet, medical security, transportation and the entertainment facilities tally with some relevant regulations in Measures for the Management of National Sports Training Base.4. The external conditions for building the rugby winter training base in Guangzhou University:The worldwide-connected and nationwide-radial comprehensive transportation system can guarantee the transportation for Guangzhou University to build winter training base;Temperate climate in winter, less rainfall and good air quality provide a good environment for Guangzhou University to build winter training base.5. The practical explorations for Guangzhou University to build rugby winter training base:Since2013, Guangzhou University has continuously undertaken the winter training task for domestic high-level rugby teams and has gotten consistent high praise.Besides,the thorough winter training organization and operation team in Guangzhou University have laid solid foundation for Guangzhou University to build a high-level rugby winter training base.6. It is feasible to build a high-level rugby winter training base in Guangzhou University.Guangzhou University has been continuously hosting winter training sessions for domestic high-level rugby teams since 2013, and has always followed the standards made by the State General Administration of Sports regarding training base management. With the hardware and software in place, Guangzhou University is the perfect place to build a high-level rugby winter training base. |
