Objective: to investigate the effects of high intensity interval training on the physical fitness of young rugby players.Research methods: literature,experiment and mathematical statistics were used,among which experiment was the main method of this study.The subjects of the study were 41 members of the rugby training team of shenyang no.176 middle school,both of whom were boys.They were randomly divided into the control group of 21 and the experimental group of 20.In the experimental group,high intensity interval training was used as an intervention method to explore the specific effects of high intensity interval training on the physical fitness of young rugby players.Results:(1)high intensity interval training can significantly improve the physical fitness of young rugby players.After the experiment,the speed quality of the experimental group was significantly improved at 10 meters and 40 meters(P<0.01),and that of the 50 meters was significantly improved(P<0.05),while that of the control group was not significantly improved at 10 meters and 40 meters(P>0.05),and that of the 50 meters was significantly improved(P<0.05).In terms of endurance quality,both the experimental group and the control group showed significant improvement in 12-??ute running after intervention(P<0.01),but compared with the control group,the experimental group showed a larger improvement.In terms of agility quality,the experimental group had a very significant improvement in the 25-meter 25-meter z-run(P<0.01),while there was no significant improvement in the goal run(P>0.05).The control group showed no significant improvement in the two qualities(P>0.05).In terms of explosive force and standing long jump quality,the experimental group showed significant improvement after intervention(P<0.01),while the control group showed no significant improvement(P>0.01).(2)high intensity interval training can significantly improve the physical function of young rugby players.After the experiment,both the experimental group and the control group showed significant improvement in vo2 Max and lung capacity(P<0.01),but the experimental group showed a larger improvement.(3)on the index of heart rate monitor,while the average maximum heart rate and heart rate in the two groups were very significant differences(P<0.01),in the quiet heart rate on this metric,the experimental group before and after comparison has the extremely significant difference(P<0.01),the control group before and after contrast with significant difference(P<0.05),the experimental effect is more obvious.Conclusion :(1)through the experimental study,it is found that high-intensity interval training can significantly improve the physical fitness,body function,heart rate and other related sports ability of rugby players,which further verifies the previous studies on high-intensity interval training and confirms its application value in rugby.(2)compared with traditional training methods,high-intensity interval training is more time-saving,efficient and economical.(3)there is no significant improvement in the index of agile quality goal turnround run in the high-intensity training,which indicates that further study is needed to find out the deficiencies of the plan.
