In rugby, due to the short running time and flight distance of rugby in the air,and the high speed, players need to accelerate, decelerate and move in multiple directions in the field in an instant,so the ability to quickly change direction or speed is very important for rugby players.critical.As an important system of physical function training,multi-directional movement training is gradually applied to more and more sports training with the needs of athletes to improve their abilities. In this context,in order to explore the training methods of speed and agility of high-level rugby players, this paper studies the application of multi-directional movement training to the training of rugby players, and focuses on analyzing the effects of multi-directional movement training on rugby players in various aspects.Through the experimental comparison, the most suitable training method for improving the speed and agility of athletes is researched. In this study,a comparative experiment was conducted, and 18 professional rugby players in Tianjin were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group.Statistics and analysis to study the extent to which multi-directional movement training can improve the speed and agility of rugby players,so as to make an empirical discussion on the research content.Selecting 30 m,5/10/15/20 m turnaround running, and 800 m running as speed indicators, nebraska sensitivity test,PRO test and "T" shape running as sensitivity quality indicators, and comparing the data of the two groups of indicators before and after the experiment,we get gives the following results:1.In the FMS test item, from the point of view of performance,multi-directional movement training and traditional training have basically the same improvement on athletes, but the effect is better than traditional training. The specific performance is as follows: squat, straight split squat, and body rotation stability have significant effects, and the effect of hurdles and trunk stability push-ups is extremely significant.Although the scores of the control group all improved, the improvement was very small. It should be pointed out in particular that the squatting test results in the control group decreased after training.Active straight knee lift and shoulder joint flexibility test results show that the two training methods have roughly the same effect, with no significant improvement. The test results of the 2.30 m run show that after training, the scores of both groups have improved significantly, and the improvement in the control group is greater than that of the experimental group;Compared with the control group, the degree of improvement was significantly larger, showing a significant increase, while the control group showed a general performance with only a small increase.3.Multi-directional movement training and traditional training have good effects in improving the agility of athletes.Comparing the two,the effect of multi-directional movement training is more obvious. In the nebraska sensitivity test, the PRO test and the "T" shape running test, the experimental group members all showed a great improvement, while the control group's performance improved, the rate was small. In view of the above results, the following conclusions and suggestions are put forward: I hope that the research results can provide new training ideas for the speed quality and agility quality training of rugby players, form an organic integration of multi-directional movement training and special quality training, complement each other, and comprehensively improve athletes. At the same time, the experimental results show that arranging multi-directional movement training before the basic skills learning of different competitive sports and arranging a reasonable training load will help improve the training effect and be beneficial to the acquisition of basic skills;in addition to targeting athletes In addition,multi-directional mobile training is also suitable for other groups to train, but it is necessary to adopt personalized training methods according to different physical characteristics, and reasonably arrange training intensity and training time to ensure that daily professional training can achieve the best results.
